Write to me. I answer by hand.
For tour questions, dietary needs, group bookings, or to debate the finest Kaiserschmarrn in town. There's only me, so please allow a couple of days — my dog is still figuring out the keyboard.

For companies, weddings, and milestone celebrations.
We do tailored walks for groups of 4 to 16: corporate incentives, custom outings, and slow weddings. Send a brief outline and we'll come back with a route. Minimum two weeks' notice.
Request a tailored walkA few handy bits before you book your spot.
Do you run private walks for two?
Yes, but the regular tour diary is usually the kinder option. Write to us if you want the route to yourselves.
Minimum and maximum group size?
Tours run with a minimum of two guests and a maximum of eight, so you're never part of a crowd or a moving buffet line.
Children?
Welcome from age 14. Families with small children: please book a private tour for a more flexible pace and more child-friendly tastings.
Allergies and dietary needs?
Tell us when booking and we'll adapt where we reasonably can, but we cannot guarantee a completely allergy-free environment – busy kitchens and markets simply don't allow for 100% control. Your health comes first, so guests with severe allergies should consider carefully whether a shared food walk is suitable.
Do you operate in winter?
Yes, and arguably we're at our best in November. Bring a warm coat.
What if I need to cancel?
You can cancel up to 24 hours before the tour for a refund; after that, tickets are non-refundable, but we'll try to help you rebook if the stars (and schedules) align.
What happens if the tour is cancelled by you?
If we ever need to cancel (for example, if the minimum number of guests is not reached), you will get a new date or a full refund – no awkward "am I the only one?" at the meeting point.
Do tours run in bad weather?
Yes. Vienna tastes good in sun, drizzle and a bit of snow; bring layers and a rain jacket.
Is public transport included?
If a route uses tram or metro, you'll need your own valid ticket or pass – it's how locals commute between snacks, and now you do, too.
Who is responsible for my health and belongings?
You join the walk at your own risk and are responsible for your health, insurance and personal belongings – we handle the tastings and stories, you handle your valuables and sensible shoes.
